You will need to have the Digital PADI crew pack and many items are included that are needed. all the study materials and the slates required for the course and later in life.

Equipment:

As a Dive professional it is expected that you have your own tools (dive equipment). Your Course Director can help you with advice on equipment and any equipment purchases during the IDC will be offered at a discounted industry rate. Rental equipment is available. For the IE it is required that you have a full set of Scuba Equipment including al Safety Equipment (Knife, Whistle, Safety Sausage) and a Rescue Pocket Mask. (as per PADI standards)

Fri – Day 1 – Registration, Payment of balance, Course Orientation (Pro Dive Cairns)

Sat – Day 2 – First Aid Training and EFR First Aid Instructor course (FAA)

Sun – Day 3 – EFRI Knowledge reviews / Dive Theory Exams practice (at Home)

Mon – Day 4 – AM Confined Water skills, PM Classroom Knowledge Development

Tue – Day 5 – AM and PM in the classroom

Wed – Day 6 and 7 – AM Confined water -PM Classroom

Fri – Day 8 – Open water Presentations

Day 9 and 10 – Time to self-study Theory and Standards exams

Mon – Day 11 – Dry work shops

Tue – Day 12 – back in the Open water

Wed – Day 13 – AM Confined water – PM Theory and Exam practice

Thu – Day 14 – EFR Instructor Practice and IDC Closing

Fri – Day 15 – Rest Day, Prep day, study day

Sat – Day 16 and 17 PADI Final Exams

Mon – Day 18 and 19 Time for specialty dives and MSDT prep
